Online Dieline Generator for Print-Ready Packaging
A dieline is the flat cut-and-fold blueprint a printer uses to produce your box. CraftyWand is an online dieline generator that builds an accurate dieline from a chosen structure, lets you place your artwork directly on it, and shows the folded result in 3D before you export — so the file you send to print is the file you actually designed.
What a dieline does
The dieline defines every cut line, fold line and glue tab. Get it wrong and the box will not assemble; get it right and your artwork lands exactly where it should on each panel. A good dieline is the difference between a clean print run and an expensive reprint.
CraftyWand keeps the dieline and your design in the same coordinate space, so what you place on a panel is what prints on that panel. There is no separate export step where the artwork can shift relative to the cut lines.
Choose a structure and set your size
Begin with a structural template — a tuck-end carton, mailer, drawer box or similar — and set the width, height and depth for your product. The dieline regenerates to your dimensions, so you are not stretching a fixed artboard or redrawing geometry by hand.
This parametric approach is the fastest route to a correct custom box design: you describe the size you need and the generator produces a buildable dieline with the tabs and creases in the right places.
Cut lines, fold lines and clarity
CraftyWand renders cut and fold lines distinctly so the dieline reads clearly, and you can toggle them on and off while you work to focus on either the structure or the artwork. The result is a clean, professional dieline that a printer or die-maker can interpret without a phone call to clarify what each line means.
See it fold in 3D
Every dieline is paired with a live 3D preview. Use the fold control to open and close the box and confirm the artwork wraps correctly across panels and seams. It is the quickest way to catch a misaligned logo, an upside-down panel or text that runs across a fold before production.
The preview uses the same engine behind the 3D packaging mockup tool, so what you approve in 3D matches the dieline you export exactly.
Export a print-ready dieline
When the layout is final, export a vector dieline and print-ready artwork with the cut and fold structure preserved. Because the output is vector, it scales cleanly to any size the printer needs. See print-ready packaging design for what to check before you send files to print.
Box and carton types
The generator covers common retail and shipping structures, including folding cartons, mailers, drawer and rigid boxes, and a growing library of packaging templates you can resize and brand. Whatever you start from, the dieline stays editable until you are happy.
